Rupture (born 1993, Switzerland) is a self-taught artist, currently based in Mexico City. Their work examines identity, power, and the systems through which human experience is shaped and controlled, across a practice that moves between physical and digital mediums.

Rupture has exhibited internationally since 2016, with presentations at Museum Halle Saint-Pierre (Paris) and the 2nd Triennial of Self-Taught Visionary Art (Belgrade), among others. Their work has been nominated for the Prix Suisse d'Art Brut.

Within the digital art space, Rupture has built a significant presence across Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana, with the Persona collection (750 artworks, 2024-2025) among the most widely collected artist-made Ordinals series to date. Their practice is defined throughout by an insistence on process and the irreversible accumulation of decisions, work that bears the full trace of its own making.
